A considerable corn-mill has lately been erected<br \/>\nhere by Mr. Charles Sharpley, and there are also two extensivc<br \/>\ntan-yards, which employ many of the inhabitants. The church<br \/>\nis a small but neat edifice, possessing neither spire nor steeple;<br \/>\nand the Catholic chapel is a spacious stone building. Here is a session<br \/>\nhouse where civil suits only are decided twice a year. The<br \/>\nmarket, which is held on Tuesday, is remarkably well supplied. Its<br \/>\ntwo fairs are on the 12th of May and the 12th of November. The<br \/>\npopulation is about 800.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Post Office &#8211;<\/strong> Post Master, Mr. Charles Hamilton. The Dublin mail arrives<br \/>\nat half past eleven in the morning, and is despatched as half-past one<br \/>\nin the afternoon.
