Find the parish of interest using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/gmapsetcoords.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">map search<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/rcparishlink.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">civil parish lookup, Diocese<\/a> etc as usual.\u00a0 The old OSI maps links have been removed, and the entry now shows the Irish Transverse Mercator (ITM) coordinates.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2182\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image9-2-300x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image9-2-300x286.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image9-2-768x732.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image9-2.jpg 776w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. Open the <a href=\"http:\/\/map.geohive.ie\/mapviewer.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GEOHive map viewer<\/a>\u00a0(opens in a new tab\/window), and\u00a0select &#8216;Data Catalogue\/Base Information and Mapping&#8217; option on the top left, and scroll down<br \/>\nto the &#8216;Historic Map 6 inch Colour (1837-1842)&#8217; and select this using the checkbox.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2187\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image11-284x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"284\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image11-284x300.jpg 284w, https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image11.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 284px) 100vw, 284px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0 Return to the parish link page and copy the ITC coordinates of the Chapel. These coordinates consist of two six digit numbers separated with a comma, and paste these into the search option at the top of the GEOHive page, and press enter.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-2189\" src=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image12-300x65.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"65\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image12-300x65.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image12-768x167.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.swilson.info\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Image12.jpg 774w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>4. GeoHive should select the correct location and zoom in, with a red marker at the location.
