List of Royal Irish Constabulary (R.I.C.) and Dublin Metropolitan Police (D.M.P.) stations c1890

The headquarters of each district is indicated in bold.

W.R., S.R. refer to West Riding, South Riding etc, which are divisions of the larger counties.

The D.M.P. served Dublin city and parts of south east County Dublin, out as far as Kingstown (now Dún Laoghaire)

D.M.P. Divisions A and B covered Dublin South city, from the River Dodder estuary at Ringsend, and to the west as far as Chapelizod bridge, and an area south of the Liffey extending south as far as the Grand Canal.

Divisions C and D covered the the city to the North of the Liffey, between Dollymount and west as far as Knockmaroon Hill, and extending north as far as Grattan Bridge,, Bolton St., Dorset St. and Drumcondra-road, to Whitehall, and Upper Drumcondra Rd.

Division E covered the area south off the Grand Canal between Blackhorse Bridge and the Railway gates at Merrion, and included the urban districts of Pembrook and Rathmines

Division F covered the area south of the Railway gates at Merrion to just south of Killiney. This Division included the urban districts of Blackrock, Kingstown (Dún Laoghaire), Dalkey and parts of Killiney and Ballybrack.
