New Placename Search

Added a new Placename Search, which allow a search for a placename when a source doesn’t specify what type of location is included – e.g. an military attestation that could include the name of a town, townland, or civil parish etc. The search includes names of townlands, towns, Civil Parishes, Baronies and Poor Law Unions in a single search of the 1851 Index, and allows for two ‘Sounds Like’ search options as well as the default starts with, and exact name option. See : Placename Search
