26-Feb-190327One of the most severe gales recorded in Dublin occurred on the night of Thursday, 26th, and morning of the 27th February, causing great destruction to property in the city and to the trees in the Phoenix Park. The gale was widely extended, and caused serious damage in most parts of the British Islands.

21-Jul-1903Their Majesties King Edward VII. and Queen Alexandra arrived at Kingstown, and drove to the Vice-Regal Lodge amid great enthusiasm. In the evening their Majesties visited T.R.H. the Duke and Duchess of Connaught at the Royal Hospital. Dublin illuminated. 
22-Jul-1903Her Majesty presented badges to Jubilee Nurses in St. Patrick's Hall, Dublin Castle, and visited the Alexandra College. His Majesty the King held a Levee at Dublin Castle. Afterwards their Majesties visited Trinity College, and received an address from the University of Dublin. 
23-Jul-1903His Majesty presented new colours to the Royal Hibernian Military School, and held a review of the troops in Phoenix Park. Court held by the King and Queen at Dublin Castle.
